Carla Marie Downs was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA where she spend her childhood riding horses and playing in the dirt. She attended college at Point Park University in Pittsburgh where she studied musical theatre for 4 years. Carla moved to New Yok City in 2005 and after briefly trying her hand at musical theatre discovered her true calling in rock and country music.

Carla is currently working on her demo and has put together her own show which she is doing in various locations through out NYC.
